MAD-CAT Multi Axis Doas - Comparison campaign for Aerosols and Trace gases

Analysis settings

Viewing angles:
Standard viewing direction: Azimuth angle: 51° with respect to North
Elevation angles: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 15, 30, 90°
Azimuth scans: every 2 hours (at even hours) at an elevation angle of 3°.
These scans should be performed without gaps (including also looking e.g. at nearby buildings)
(details of the measurement settings will be discussed and decided after we received from you information about integration times of different instruments)

Fraunhofer reference spectra:
Should be taken in zenith direction within plus/minus 15 minutes around 11:30 UTC (13:30 local time)

Analyses for NO2 and O4:
Two standard wavelength ranges should be used (UV and vis, see below). For each of these wavelength ranges standard settings should be used (see details below). In addition to these 'Standard analyses', each group might perform different analyses with their preferred settings (using e.g. different cross sections, Ring spectra, etc.)..

Data format:

The data format was adapted from the CINDI campaign (see example at
Template_UV_Version2.asc
Template_Vis_Version2.asc
Each data file contains results for one day.

Please note that there is a change with respect to the intensities: -Intensities should not be normalised with respect to the noon spectrum; just the counts per integration time should be given -if possible intensities should be provided for the following wavelengths (similar to the AERONET wavelengths):
340 nm
380 nm
440 nm
500 nm
675 nm
870 nm
1020 nm
